Celebrating Gisanrin Oyeyemi Bolanle: A Lifelong Educator and Pillar of Impact in Remo

Meet Gisanrin Oyeyemi Bolanle, our RSSOSA Personality of the Week, a passionate educator, devoted Christian, and community role model. From Sonyindo roots to shaping young minds in Remo, her life is a testament to dedication, excellence, and service.

Meet our Personality of the Week Gisanrin Oyeyemi Bolanle, she was born fifty-five years ago into the family of the late Pa and Ma Olubayode Isaac Taiwo, natives of Sonyindo in Sagamu, Ogun State.  
Her educational journey began at Sonyindo Wesley School in 1976, where she completed her primary education in 1982, earning her First School Leaving Certificate. She commenced her secondary education at Sonyindo Community High School, Sagamu, and later transferred to Remo Secondary School, Sagamu, obtaining her Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSCE) in 1988.  

Driven by her passion for learning, she attended Tai Solarin College of Education, Ijebu-Ode (1990–1993), where she earned her NCE (Nigeria Certificate in Education). She further pursued higher education at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye (1995–1999), graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (B.Sc.).  

Mrs. Gisanrin began her teaching career as a PTA teacher at Remo Secondary School and later at Mayflower Primary School, under the leadership of the late Mrs. Sheila Solarin. In 1996, she secured a permanent appointment with the Ogun State Ministry of Education, serving at Isanbi Comprehensive High School, Ilisan-Remo, Akesan Grammar School, Iperu-Remo, Ilisan High School later transferred back to Isanbi Comprehensive High School (Senior), Ilisan-Remo. 
Currently, she teaches at Mayflower School (Junior), Ikenne-Remo, where she continues to foster academic excellence.  

A dedicated educator, Mrs. Gisanrin is committed to building minds through qualitative, student-centered learning. Her teaching philosophy emphasizes mentorship, discipline, and academic success, shaping students who excel in their chosen careers.  
A devout Christian, she actively serves in Kingdom Stewardship, contributing to evangelism and church ministries.  

Mrs. Gisanrin enjoys singing, dancing, and caring for children. Known for her kindness and supportive nature, she finds joy in uplifting others. Her favorite meal is rice, fried plantains (dodo), and fresh fruits.  
She is happily married to Dr. Gisanrin Olugbenga, a loving and supportive husband, and their union is blessed with wonderful children.  

Her lifelong friends include Dupe Ologunleko, Fatimo Ogunjobi, Gbadebo Omiranti, Tinuke Gbokoyi, Segun Amusa, and Rasaki Salami.
