RSSOSA Personality of the Week: Odunuga Ganiu A. – From Childhood Dream to Creative Reality

07 Oct 2025 • RSSOSA Personality of The Week

Meet Odunuga Ganiu A., an RSS alumnus whose passion for art and blogging began in childhood and has grown into a successful profession. Discover his inspiring journey from the classrooms of Remo Secondary School to a life filled with creativity, purpose, and expression.

Meet our Personality of the Week Odunuga Ganiu Adebola, a multi-talented artist and blogger who has turned his lifelong passion into a thriving profession. Ganiu’s story is one of early dreams, dedication, and the fulfillment that comes from staying true to one’s passion.

Born on August 7, and a native of Ogun State, Ganiu attended Remo Secondary School, Sagamu, where he graduated in the year 2012, as part of the 2006/2012 class set. During his time at RSS, he was known for his quiet creativity, intelligence, and a deep interest in computers and the arts. He served as the Computer Prefect in junior school, an early indicator of the path he would later follow into the digital and creative world.

What stands out most about Ganiu is how early he discovered what he wanted to do with his life. “I’ve liked to be an artist since my childhood,” he recalls fondly. “And I’m happy it’s now my profession.” For many, turning a childhood dream into a reality is a rare achievement. But Ganiu has done exactly that. Through consistent effort, creative exploration, and self-belief, he has carved out a space for himself as both an artist and a blogger, where he shares his thoughts, stories, and art with the world.

His artistic style reflects not only technical skill but also emotion, culture, and a love for vibrant expression. As a blogger, he brings the same authenticity, writing from the heart, drawing inspiration from his environment, and sharing his experiences with honesty and passion.

Looking back on his school years, Ganiu remembers them as some of the most meaningful times of his life. His best subject was English, a language he enjoyed both academically and creatively.

He also had a strong admiration for Mr. Fasunwon, his favorite teacher, whose lessons left a lasting impact. Among all his classmates, he shared a special bond with Orenuga Debora, who remains his best friend from school. Their friendship was a source of strength and laughter during those formative years.

When he’s not creating art or writing, Ganiu enjoys indulging in his favorite hobbies; traveling and singing, both of which reflect his free spirit and love for expression. His favorite food is jollof rice, a classic that never fails to satisfy. And if you ask him his favorite color, he’ll tell you it’s yellow, a color that symbolizes joy, energy, and creativity, much like the way he lives his life.

Odunuga Ganiu A. represents the best of what RSSOSA stands for: the courage to dream, the discipline to work towards that dream, and the heart to inspire others along the way. His journey is a reminder that no dream is too small or too distant if we remain committed to it.

We celebrate Ganiu not just for what he has achieved, but for the example he sets for current and future students of Remo Secondary School. His story encourages us all to believe in our passions and to pursue them with unwavering dedication.
