Meet Yetunde Falano-Olushogo (RSS 94/00), a Nigerian tech maven blending AI expertise with human impact. From banking to BI, discover how her RSS roots fuel her journey as a Principal Data Advisor in Texas.

Meet Yetunde Falano-Olushogo our Personality of the Week. She is a proud member of the 1994/2000 Class Set. Born on May 22 and from Ilisan Remo, Ogun State, she looks back at her time in RSS as a season of growth, learning, consistency, and discipline, lessons that have stayed with her to this day.  After RSS, Yetunde went on to study at Babcock University, where she graduated in 2005. She spent ten years working in the banking industry as a Relationship Manager in one of Nigeria's biggest banks before making a bold move into Tech.   Taking with her a wealth of experience in customer relations and retention, she transitioned into Tech, and becoming a digital evangelist with a strong focus on Business Intelligence and AI.   A master in anything data, Yetunde has used her expertise not just to drive business transformation but also to support and guide others aspiring to enter the data space.  Currently, she works as a Principal Data Advisor/Senior Business Intelligence Developer in Texas, USA.  Her work is all about helping businesses turn their data into clear, actionable insights that support real decisions and drive growth.  Even though she switched careers, one thing has remained constant—her passion for helping people fueled by her goal for positive impact.   Yetunde has earned several recognitions over the course of her career, including the “Problem Solver Prodigy” Award—one of many nods to her relentless drive and outstanding contributions in the tech space.  Outside of work, Yetunde enjoys traveling and creating memories with her family. She also finds fulfillment in mentoring others and supporting people who are looking to grow in their careers, especially in the Tech space.   Her go-to quote is from Ecclesiastes 9:10: "Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might." That’s how she lives her life—giving her best to everything she does.  One of her most cherished RSS memories was when the school hosted the Aionian Games.  She also remembers Literature in English classes with Mr. Ogidan, especially when reading Shakespeare's Twelfth Night. Her favorite line from the play is "If music be the food of love, play on."  She was especially fond of English Language and had great admiration for Mr. Okoro, who taught Government. For today’s students at RSS—and for her younger self—Yetunde’s advice is simple: Just do it. Focus. Work hard. There are no other ways to success.  She believes in discipline and doing your best, even when no one is watching. Yetunde Falano-Olushogo continues to fly the RSS flag high, not just by what she has achieved, but by the values she lives by every single day.   #rssosapersonalityoftheweek #rssosamedia #rssosa
