We are excited to feature Mrs. Funmilayo Gbodi-Adesanya, a dynamic professional with extensive experience in accounting and marketing. Born into the Gbodi family in Makun Town, Sagamu, Ogun State, Mrs. Gbodi-Adesanya’s journey is one of dedication, excellence, and a commitment to continuous growth.
Her educational foundation was built at Wesley School Ojumele, Sagamu, followed by Remo Secondary School Sagamu—West Africa’s first co-educational school—where she graduated as part of the 1994/2000 class set. She furthered her studies with a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic in 2009 and a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Open University, Abeokuta Centre, in 2019.
In her professional life, Mrs. Gbodi-Adesanya has excelled as both an Accountant and a Marketing Executive, where her passion for developing effective strategies and delivering impactful results stands out. Known for her attention to detail and her ability to execute, she continues to make significant contributions in these fields.
Her role as the Welfare Secretary for her 1994/2000 class set highlights her dedication to community and connection. Ensuring the well-being of her peers is a priority, and she maintains strong bonds with her classmates and teachers, cherishing memories of her time at Remo Secondary School.
Mrs. Gbodi-Adesanya embraces life’s challenges with optimism, living by her favorite quote, “Que sera sera.” Outside of her professional commitments, she enjoys the traditional dish Ikokore and her favorite color, blue, reflects her calm and composed nature.
